A Passion for Process Improvement
Erick Kuhni founded Benefit Sculptor in 2016. With nearly 20 years of experience as a second-generation health insurance agent, he believed he could develop a digital platform that can, through the normalization and visualization of real-time health plan data, help agents guide employers to the right health plans for their teams.
Today, Benefit Sculptor helps brokers and agents across the country access and compare every available health plan—regardless of carrier—in a given geographical area. These same agents can then share meaningful visualizations of those plans with employers, helping them to evaluate and understand their options so they can choose from them confidently.
Though the Benefit Sculptor team has grown since the company began, it remains committed to the same original goal—helping agents earn more business through better access to health plan information.

Erick manages the development of the Benefit Sculptor dashboard. Erick is in a unique position in that he has nearly twenty years of experience as a small group benefits broker, as well as being a capable full-stack developer. This allows him to design powerful web tools for the challenges small group benefits brokers face every day in their business.
